Meet Our Comfort Keepers®

Our team is uniquely qualified and ready to help 

Every member of our team is professional and well trained. We conduct a thorough screening and interviewing process to identify the best home care providers, and only those who pass this process go on to complete training to deliver our special brand of home care and become Comfort Keepers®. What truly sets our people apart, though, is their natural gift for caring for others. 

All Comfort Keepers pass extensive background checks and complete continuing education. They are bonded, insured and covered by workers' compensation insurance to protect our clients and their families.

Owners

Through their overall direction, they make certain that every aspect of care provided by Tualatin Comfort Keepers meets Comfort Keepers' high standards of in-home elder care. They promote Comfort Keepers care throughout our region and build and maintain partnerships with other elder care and health care providers. This growing network provides seniors and their families a full spectrum of convenient senior care options.

Carla Rotan

Client Care Coordinator

Carla started as a Comfort Keeper. She wanted to become a Client Care Coordinator and took extra classes to better learn how to become a supervisor in the field. She is a wonderful CCC who is driven by her caring for the clients and the Comfort Keepers that she works with every day. 

Becca Conway, RN

Director of Nursing

Becca came to work with us after graduating from nursing school.  She manages the medical care for our In-Home Care Clients.  She helps us with vaccinations and those required TB tests.  She has extensive experience as a CNA and has a growing number of Long Term Community Nursing clients.

Lourdes Tulin, LPN

Client Care Coordinator/Intakes

Lourdes was a great Caregiver for us while going to nursing school.  She is now an LPN and works with us Part-time as our Home visit specialist.  Call and schedule a time for Lourdes to visit and help you determine how we can meet your In-home Care needs.

Aaron Warner

Comfort Keeper Trainer

Aaron is another shining star that shows how much he loves the clients that he cares for.  He has quickly been placed in a role of training our Comfort Keepers in all specialty areas, so they can provide the best care to all of our clients. He develops the training for individual clients, has team meetings with all the Comfort Keepers that care for that client, and oversees the care provided.  Our Comfort Keepers love his training.

Shanna Conkle

Administrative Assistant

Shanna is the bright and sunny voice on the phone and smile as you walk into our office.  Shanna manages the insurance billings and mailings that we deal with for our clients.  Shanna is also a scheduler and ensures all of our supplies are kept up and organized.  

Sonya Zimmer

Administrative Assistant

Sonya keeps all of our Medicaid client files up to date and in order.  She has the large job of maintaining the billings and hours tracking for our Community Nursing Program Participants.

Misti Rooper

Administrative Assistant

Misti has a beautiful new baby girl.  She is back on a very limited basis but is working as an assistant to Human Resources.  Misti does all of our first stage interviews for potential Comfort Keepers.  She was a “Triple A” Comfort Keeper herself before coming to work in the office.  She brings out the best in people, and ensures they will be the wonderful care provider we are looking for.

Jennifer Propp

Human Resources Manager

Jennifer has a passion for bringing the best Comfort Keepers to our team.  She started as a scheduler and was great at making great matches between caregivers and clients.  Jennifer has a “smile” in her voice as you speak with her.  She helps to keep our Comfort Keepers happy while meeting the needs of our clients.

Roxanne Quiding

Scheduler

Roxanne has the responsibility of making sure that the scheduling program is utilized to the fullest extent, which assures us accurate payroll and invoicing.  She is also the reporting specialist that helps keep all of our numbers in order.  Roxanne will ensure both our client and caregiver have the best experience possible.

Karen Risch

Nursing Manager

Karen is a new member of our team and has taken over management of our Community Nursing Program.  She has an extensive nursing background and is continuing the growth of the program.

Erik Stenehjem

Operations Manager

Erik has the responsibility to ensure all of the operations in our territories and programs are smooth and efficient.  Erik is a little bit of tech support, a little bit of marketing, a little bit of training, and lots of invoicing, payroll and troubleshooting.
